Mission
The Binghamton University Parent’s Collective (BUPC) provides a supportive space for graduate students to form mutually-supportive community of parents. We organize to make the campus more family-friendly and offer parents the opportunity to take advantage of low-cost, community and educational activities.

Activities
These include play dates, a parent’s book club, family parties and outings to local parks and attractions, as well as initiatives aimed at supporting student-parents. We arrange educational lectures and workshops on a variety of parenting issues.

Playgroups
Saturdays from 10 am every two weeks. Trips to the Zoo, Discovery center and Local Parks this summer!

Volunteers hosts are needed! Contact us for details.

Initiatives in progress:
*Have the Graduate Student Organization (GSO) travel fund support child-care as a reimbursable conference expense.

*Work with the GSO and other campus organizations to reach out to graduate student parents, inform them of our work, and of local activities and resources of interest for families.
