Ranganatha Yateendhra Mahaa Desikan has out of His infinite mercy is blessing us with daily KaalkshEpams on chosen subjects. adiyEn released the 3rd day’s anugrha bhAshaNam yesterday .Today , adiyEn will translate the First A nugraha BhAshaNam , which is introductory and deals with the dhivya dEsam of ThiruppullANI and
the prescribed daily anushtAnams like SandhyA vandhanam .
*At the outset , Srimath Azhagiya Singar explained the SanyAsrama dharmam that requires a Yati to stay at one place during the rainy season for two months so that they do not step even unconsciously on the insects and worms that are abundant during this season and move about . They would like to avoid any himsaa to them .
Srimath Azhagiya Singar explained the significance of Mruth sangrahaNam for souchAchamanam during the
ChAthurmAsya Sankalpam . This is the 20th sankalpam for HH the Periya Azhagiya Singar and the third one for HH the Chinna Azhagiya Singar .
Srimath Azhagiya Singar referred to the auspiciousness of ThiruppullANi ( PullaNai, PullAraNya Kshetram)
and described the incidents that happened there during RaamAvatAram : VibhishaNa SaraNAgati, the incident of dharbha sayanam seeking the permission of Samudhra Raajan to Build the Raama sethu to cross over to
LankA for retrieving SitA Piraatti , Lord RaamachandrA’s worship of Adhi JagannAthar for victory in the upcoming yuddham with RaavaNan . He referred to the navagraha pAshANams established by Lord Raamachandra Himself during that Vibhava avatAram , the unusual arasa ( asvattam) tree at this dhivya desam , which sends down roots from the branches in to ground like the Aala Maram( pUpil tree) . The bhaagyam of this dhivya desam having the Thiruvadi sambhandham of Lord Raamachandra and the building of the dam over the Ocean was referred to especially by the revered AchAryan .
Srimath Azhagiya Singar proceeded to a future topic that He hopes to cover : Dharma saastrams and daily anushtAnams like SandhyA Vandhanam . He reminded us that one who does not daily sandhyAvandhanam is an
impure person ( SandhyAheena: aSuchi:) and will not gain any fruits form performance of Vaidhika KarmAs like ArAdhanam for PerumAL . He mentioned that the sins accumulated daily are banished thru the performance of the daily sandhyA Vandhanam . Currently , Srimath Azhagiya Singar is blessing us with monthly postings on
