Skydivers enjoy hang-time too, but soaring is not really built into our wings in the same fashion as paragliders.

Para-swap is a concept in development to achieve hang-time through a deployment option available to parachutists/skydivers. Freefall deployment would be the ideal method but manufacturers are not yet interested in bringing technology, being developed for the military, into the civilian market. Untill such time as that is available other deployment options will be entertained.

Direct-bag deployment from a balloon is well under way and showing interesting results, it has a potential for other usage through carefully orchestrated means.


Canopy transfers will also be evaluated for feasibility in reaching the goal of more hang-time.
