RE:PAMELA SMART
She has been in prison over 14 years and we feel that is long enough.
Most of the countries in the civilized world hold a life sentence as 7 years.
Our petition asks for Pamela's sentenced to be reduced to time served or at least for Pamela to be eligible for release on parole.
Thank you.
John William Vondra
The Undersigned
We endorse the Free Pamela Smart Petition to Governor of The State of New Hampshire and The New Hampshire Executive Council 585. Glenn Sanders I think the sentence was to harsh. I don not believe she deserves life without parole. The sentence was way to harsh. She did not even
do the actual killing.
584. Frank Benedict
583. Gwen Johnson
582. Brent Vance Free Pam. Jesus Christ believes in forgiveness. At least give Pam a new trial since the media influenced the jury to vote Pam to be guilty.

576. Karen Priddy I understand that Pamela Smart was involved in a heinous crime. However, I do not believe that life without parole is a just punishment.
Pamela shows exemplary commitment to doing the best she can while being incarcerated and I believe she deserves a chance at an appeal. Rotting away a
person for almost an entire lifetime achieves nothing in my eyes except condemning a soul to more than any of us could bear. Please allow Pamela Smart a
fair and just trial.

550. Deborah Graham Pam Smart was not given a fair trial. The fact that the prosecuting attorney was so receptive to evidence that Pam might be guilty and
totally shut out to any evidence that Pam might be innocent shows how close minded is. MAGGIOTTO YOU MADE A MISTAKE AND DON'T WANT TO ADMIT IT. YOU ARE TOO
AFRAID OF LOSING YOUR JOB FOR GETTING SOMEONE WRONGLY CONVICTED. The prosecuting attorney was incompotent and deserves to lose her job. She ruined Pam's
life.

548. Phil Gingras
547. Edward L. O'Brien Every citizen has the right to a fair and impartial trial - The trial for Pamela Smart was not conducted in a fair manor, nor was
the guidelines issued by the U.S. Supreme court, as change of place of trial held in the area of a hotbed of hate, the jury was not sequestered as they
should have been, and to have a Judge say to the Jury "I hope Clint Eastwood plays my part" - quote of Judge Gray to the Jury. Is enought to call for a new
trial in probabaly any other state in America. but here in N.H. the "good old boys" are alive and doing as they please.

526. Katie A. Raymond She's been in too long, too wrong.
525. Richard Smith (Scotland) UK Having read all I can about this case and having spoken to Pammy via letter I am convinced she is innocent and should be
freed. The court case was carried along with the media hysteria of the case and could see no further than a guilty verdict. Pamela is entitled to be freed
now after serving such a long sentence.
524. Cathy
523. Claudette Cameron Pam Smart needs to be set free. It is obvious that she is probably innocent if someone checks out ALL - NOT just one or two - sites
on google.com.

508. Gerald Hooks Pam has served her time. I know that there is no way to bring back Greg, but there is a way to free Pam. It is too bad that Greg is dead
on Earth, but Pam hopefully will be able to see Greg again in heaven. She goes to church and is a good person. She did not kill her husband. Billy Flynn
killed her husband and will be set free in 11 years.
507. Scott Hammond Set Pam free. Not enough to convict her, and everyone who knows her think that she the equivalent of Mother Theresa.
506. Anon
505. Lexie "If she were a male she would be free"? Last time I checked Billy Flynn and Pete Randall were still in prison. How about if she were human, none
of them would be in prison?
504. Dr. Juan Esteva Free Pam Smart. Also the money she spent in her lawyer fees should be returned to her. I am constantly shipping back money I receive
as a gift because my life doesn't depend on it. Therefore, the money spent in her lawyer fees also needs to be returned since they did not really need it
the way Pam needs to be set free.
503. Al Vandernarlie Free Pam. The chain of events sounds mighty suspicious: Billy, Patrick, and Vantine get arrested, the three murderers decide to
testify against Pam (WHICH IS GOOD EVIDENCE THAT THEY DEVISED A SCHEME TO GET REDUCED PRISON TIME), Cecilia is hired to tape Pam's conversation without her
knowledge and Pam plays a game with her not knowing that the conversation will be used to convict her (PEOPLE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE OFFICIALLY
BEING ASKED FOR THE TRUTH), Pam gets arrested one month later, Pam is not given any chance to be released on bond, Pam is given life with no possibility of
parole, and all of Pam's appeals have been turned down. If she had been a male, she would be free now. It is obvious that Pam was set up to be framed. STOP
LYING TO YOURSELF.
502. Tessa Hamilton
501. Sam Billy Flynn and Patrick Randall most certainly did get life sentences. Their sentences are 40 years to life with the POSSIBILITY of parole after
28 years. That does not mean that they WILL be paroled, only that they have the opportunity for it. They could do life and even if they are released on
parole, they most likely will remain on parole for the rest of their lives. I think you Pam supporters need to get your facts straight.
500. Doug Bock Free that kind lady. She has done so much to help society. She does more in prison in one year than most people have done in their entire
lifetime. The jury was not sequestered, so her guilty verdict is incorrect. Many people misspell things on this petition because it is hard to get
everything spelled correctly when it gets submitted right afterwards. Greg is dead. The only time a dead person ever came from the grave was in 1984 when
John Lenon released the hit "Nodody Told Me," and he soon had to return to the grave. The man who killed John Lenon has been up for parole, so why can't
Pam be up for parole. Billy Flynn and Pete Randall were not given life sentences. They get released in 11 years. They would have gotten 40 years but got
their sentence reduced as long as they agreed to behave in prison.

497. Rev theodore petersen Set her free i love her
496. Kyle I think she has served a long enough sentence. She deserves either release or a new trial and the justice system is too quick to say no
495. Deidre And we'll be praying for you Beverly because you're obviously whacked too. Bill Flynn and Pete Randll did get life sentences - they just have
the possibility of parole
494. Beverly Bakanowicz I just gone watching the movie Murder In New Hampshire. It is readily obvious to any smart person that Billy Flynn and Pete Randall
could have backed out at any chance to kill Greg Smart. They murdered the poor man and are lucky that they did not get life sentences. Pam was unfairly
convicted and should be set free in the new few months. I pray to her - NOT God - since she is suffering from something she did not do. God will punish you
for writing defamatory comments about Pam. She could be even his daughter.
493. Tom B
492. Dr. Bernard Nadel I agree with what the last two people said. God is everywhere - even in prison. So just because someone is in prison does not give
them the right not to be a minister. Moreover, Pam needs to be set free. Jesus Christ stressed the need for forgivenesses and second chances. Pam is not
guilty of 1st degree murder since she did not kill anyone or put a gun to Billy Flynn's head.
491. Anon
490. Tracy G
489. Christopher Baker Free Pam. She is not a danger to society. I was hit over the head with a club, and the police refused to investigate the incident
once the hospital report stated that I was recommended to be released. Pam can't be guilty of 1st degree murder since she did not kill anyone. Free the
poor woman. 2000 years ago a kind man got nailed to a cross, and it looks like the same situation is returning. Pam is not Jesus but a kind woman who has
been unfairly persecuted. She should not have hung out with Billy Flynn, but release after since she has served her time.
488. Anon
487. Sam
486. Frankie Travis I just watched the case on Court TV tonight. It was obvious that Pam is innocent and set up to be framed. The TV program mentioned her
dedication to church, and can't anyone realize that going to church should be grounds for parole. I go to Church every Sunday, but most people think that
it is a waste of time. Pam is at peace with God. Doesn't this impress on you the importance of giving this person a second chance.
485. Bernice Jenkins Pam went to my high school but was 3 years behind me. Life is no possibility of parole is a mean punishment for someone who was
never charged with doing the actual killing. I have contacted the prison, and PAM IS A MINSITER. DON'T PICK ON THE OTHER CHRISTRIANS. Set Pam free and
allow her the chance to be President of the country. She would make a wonderful President based upon growing up with her,
484. Anon
483. Jon Martin Pam is innocent. It is obvious that she is a very kind person based on her being a minister of her church. I think that many people are
right about Pam being Jesus Christ. Like Jesus Christ, she is a loving person who has been unfairly defamed. Pam is great and if you think otherwise, it is
your problem - not mine.
482. Cindy
481. Rachel I have called the police falsely as a joke because of being mad that my boyfriend broke up with me. I even went so far to make sure that a
blind man got sent to jail because of my anger. I deserve to be locked up. Free Pam. I have made many wrongdoings in my life, and I am free. I worship Pam
because she is much closer to Jesus Christ than anyone in my family. The fact that she won't get out of prison is irrelevant since she will go to heaven. I
will rot in hell.
480. randall trail
479. Wendy C
478. Nina Yamakado Free Pam Smart. I pretended to be someone's friend and talked them into getting their work published. I continued to manipulate the
person by criticizing him for all the help she had given Pamela Smart. I am a manipulator and never got arrested. My friend was so forgiving of me when I
confessed the truth. People make dumb mistakes in life and need a second chance. I had a second chance and want Pam to have a second chance also.
477. Lynda Lockhart If you listened to the whole story of the Greg Smart murder - not just bits and pieces - you will come up with a not guilty verdict and
even be quite anrgy like me that Pam spent so much time in prison. Free the saint. I agree with other people on the peitition that she is like Jesus
Christ. Christ has died, has risen, and has come again. Pam Smart is the second coming and if you just took the time to write or visit her, you will be a
much better person.
476. Anon
475. Jim Howard I have devoted a good part of my spare time towards researching the case, and Pam needs to be set free because the punishment is
unreasonable and the trial was carried out in an unfair manner. I got arrested in Gatlinburg for disorderly conduct because I asked a driver for
directions. I DON'T BELIEVE IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM
474. Dr. Sarcheck There was not enough evidence to convict Pam, so whatever happened to the Bill of Rights? Pam has been denied any opportunity to appeal
the unfair sentences, so it is obvious that she was set up. She continues her education and helps people with emotionally problems. He does more in prison
than most people do in their everyday life.
473. Daryl Jordan Pam Smart makes time for God in her life.Pam has served enough time and deserves to be set free.

471. Debra Kelly Free pamela Smart, she was wrongly convicted.,she deserves to be set free today.!
470. BJ Hunycutt
469. Julie Whipple Free Pam Smart. She has served her time. Moreover, there was not evidence to convict her, and our constitution says that you are
innocent until proven guilty.
468. Stevie Greene Pam Smart reminds me of Joan of Arc. Like Joan of Arc, she is a saint whose life has been destroyed unfairly. Society has been an
example out of her to be mean. Pam is innocent, so set her free.
467. Brad
466. Adrienne Rasmussen Is there anybody out there who has heard of the two murder cases. One is the Robert Chambers preppy murder case. The other is the
Joel Steinberg murder case that happened in New York City where both parties served 15 years and are now out walking free. They committed murder. Pam didn't.
What's wrong with this picture?
465. Stacey I heard that jr had been released. When are the others up for parole? i read something on the internet a couple of weeks ago about billy flynn
and his wife - something to do with the prison in Maine
464. Brad
463. Carlos Dominique she did not kill her husband. She was presumed to be guilty because of (1) tapes that were inaudible, (2) a judge manipulating the
jury to vote guilty, and (3) three villains making up lies about Pam to get a reduced sentence. I am not retarded. I have a masters degree in computer
science. Pam is a minister of her church. She reminds me of Jesus Christ, who was unfairly executed. I write Pam every two weeks and visit her regularly.

461. Anon
460. Billiam Dominique I feel bad that Greg Smart died and he definitely deserved to live. To the best of my knowledge, he was a very nice man. But you need to stop focusing on
his death justifying Pam's unfair conviction. Pam did not want Greg killed. Billy Flynn, Patrick, and JR framed Pam's character to have the possibility of
being released from prison, which is more than they deserved. JR should still be in prison. Billy Flynn and Patrick Randall should have gotten life.
Whatever influence Pam had to do with what the villains did, she needs to be set free since she is not the guilty person.

then that of people who have actually committed much more heinous crimes, who haven't spent near the amount of time in prison as Pam. Politicans are swayed
everyday with gifts and incentives by lobbists to vote a certain way on laws and legistlation. But ultimately its the Politicians choice, as to how he
votes. But of course we don't see these groups behind bars. I believe she has paid her debt to society and should be paroled at the very least, if not

302. DeaconBlues Her actions never warranted such a harsh sentence. The ONLY reason she has been so villified is that she was a grown woman who was ACCUSED
of sexual activity with a younger man. It sickens me the way all the horney perverts in the news media like to blast these cases out of proportion. She did
not actually murder anyone, and I sincerely believe the evidence against her was FLIMSY at best, the testimony of a horney high school student who
FANTASIZED about having sex with his teacher, and used this and an excuse to murder her husband. Pamela Smart would have never been prosecuted if it were
not for the sexual dimension of her case. She is innocent, and should have NEVER been imprisoned.

286. Andrzej Kwasniak Come on? They let the less famous murderers out in 1/2 the time!!
285. Maryanne Teto Pamela Smart should be freed she has suffered way to long in jail when she should have not even had to be in jail!
284. Monica Gossett
283. Selena I have read all the interviews, watched all the footage on tv and i do for think pamela was guilty of conspirating with the boys, however, I
think the time she has pulled should be more than enough, she is pulling the same amount of time as serial killers, and complete and total disgusting
criminals that have commited henious crimes, I do belive she is remorseful and she has indeed be rehabilated, isn't that what the justice system is all
about rehabilitation?

277. Regina Hudson
276. Donald E Morgenstern At the least she has the same rights as the real murderers
275. Aldene Fredenburg I believe Pam Smart to be guilty of the crime of which she was comvicted. I also believe, however, that when she committed it she was
not a sophisticated vamp, as some suggest, but a dopey young woman whose maturity level matched those of her juvenile co-conspirators. To condemn
he or anyone who doesn't represent a further threat to society, to a life without hope is cruel. Please consider commuting her sentence. Thank you.
274. Stephen Parker I do not believe an individual's entire life should be negatively defined by circumstances limited to the events of one period of time;
it seems reasonable and more than sane to give Pamela the opportunity to re-enter society and use her intelligence to contribute positively to the world at
large. I believe her sentence is inhumane.
273. Andrew Plunkett
272. Melissa A. Norris There are two many unanswered questions in this case, there was no justice. The right thing to do is to give her time served and
release her.
271. Tish I believe that her sentence was too harsh given that she is not the one who was there or pulled the trigger. I also believe that the other people
involved would make her look as guilty as possible to lighten their sentences. I know someone who served eight years for killing two people. He shot the
guy and almost cut the womans head off. Even if she was guilty, should she spend the rest of her life in prison when people commiting murders by their own
hand go free in less than 10 years?

268. Jeffrey Pavlich Pam should get parole atleast!
267. Carrie Kane I have been in contact off and on with Pame since she was first incarcerated and I have to say I believe she made some bad judgements, but

these people make the laws- for them and their rich and croked friends, not the poor and needy !! RIGHT??
264. Douglas Gardner A country is judged by the way it treats its prisoners.
263. Jean-Francois it was not as bad as karla homolka's crime, we should let her live with conditions out of prison
262. Sonia Simon Pame is innocent! Please Please give her back her freedom! Her family & friends are anxiously awaiting that day! She was tried & convicted
by the media. EVEN CHARLES MANSON HAS THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE! What's wrong with this picture and NH's judicial system? Enough is enough! She could be an
asset to society rather than a major expense to "the system"
261. Sonia Fortin-Simon
260. michael minnick
259. David Winfrey From the start, I thought she would be convicted because she was tried in the media. That is unfair and unjust. it is my opinion that

Pamela into saying things that weren't correct. Moreover, JR supplied the gun to kill Greg Smart. He was 18 years old and is eligible for parole in 2008.
It is so unfair. JR should have gotten life. Pamela needs to be set free. She is not a danger to society.
152. kim I know i can not keep voting but my god the woman has served enough time. Let her go home. I am so disgusted with cecelia Peirce. She tried to

144. Jean K. Mack N.C.
143. David S. McKinney
142. Rick Moore Pam probably did what she was convicted of, but we'll never know one way or the other from the sham trial she recieved in NH. Her
punishment is excessive compared to what the person who pulled the trigger recieved. If he didn't deserve life w/o parole then neither did she.
141. Frank Dodge the boys were kept together for sufficent time to coordinate their storys this is highly irregular . Pam was very stupid to have had
relations with this boy but that does not prove that she used sex to force him to kill her husband. The recording taken by wire seems suspect as many

81. AMANDA Pamela Smart deserves to be released for time served or paroled and given a chance. She has gone from 23 to 38 and after two master's while in
prison I believe she has grown up and been rehabilitated. Being from the Seabrook area, I lived through the trial and believe she did not receive a fair
trial. She was tried in the media. Give her a chance. There are actual murderers who pulled the trigger who have received less sentence and are out !
80. Abel Hernandez Anybody, after so long without freedom, should have the chance to express how that experince changed her life. There for sure is a whole
new person that deserves to contribute to the society... because our society should learn how to respect life to really be able to protect others lifes.
Why are we still playing the game of eye for eye and life for life? Justice is not to give the deserve punishment to someone that did something wrong.
Justice is to awake the conciousness of that person in such a way that (s)he could understand the mistake and with freedom to live a new life. My hope is
that Pamela will have the chance to express her new counsciousness. I hope that anybody with the power of help her could have the will to listen to her.
