PALS (People Always Learning Something) is an unaffiliated group of homeschoolers from Pittsburgh and surrounding areas whose members are tolerant of all styles of homeschooling, home education and learning at home. PALS is an open and inclusive homeschooling group with no religious affiliation, which does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sexual orientation, homeschooling style or one's personal lifestyle choices. PALS is a group that accepts all who homeschool or have a positive interest in homeschooling and everyone is encouraged to participate in and/or plan activities.

PALS is a very liberal leaning group, whose members are very outspoken and sometimes radical about their liberal views. Although all are welcome, please consider this. It is a VERY loosely moderated group. Your thoughts and ideas will be challenged and there is great opportunity for growth. Although the constant topic is homeschooling, many of our members believe that everything relates to homeschooling.

Disagreement is inevitable, but it is expected that as adults we moderate ourselves and speak with respect. Name calling, inflammatory language, verbal attacks, and the like will not be tolerated.
