Description

Palo Alto, CA, a town of about 60,000 people in the evening, swells to about 120-150,000 people during the daytime.

Once a small, rural town inhabited primarily by Stanford University employees and faculty, with the emergence of silicon technology and the rapid growth of the whole San Francisco Bay Area into one huge "Silicon Valley", Palo Alto has, as have all of the towns in this region, experienced growth which has brought intense pressures on its citizens -- some of which have resulted in Citizen Action to force City Government to moderate this growth through land use and traffic control.

This discussion group is for people who would like to have access to educational materials and engage in discussion about the future of Palo Alto.
