Purpose of the group is to network Pakistanis in UK, especially those who are either university students or the qualified professionals.

(NOTE: Because of increasing requests, membership of the group has been extended from 23rd September 2005. Now Pakistanis living/working/studying in any part of the world can become its member).

Objectives of the group are :-

1. Help members exchange their experiences of life in UK.

2. Help all members discuss matters of mutual interest (academic or other general topics).

3. Hopefully university students will gain much, in terms of their careers, by staying in touch with each other as well as with already working professionals.

4. Especially the professionals and students can utilise this forum to come up with the ideas to utilise their skills and resources for the sustainable development of Pakistan and/or Pakistani community in UK.

5. UK born Pakistanis can learn about Pakistani culture and society by asking related queries.

6. The members are also invited to share jokes, humour etc in order to keep the group lively BUT definitely staying within the limits (hopefully moderator will not be compelled to terminate any membership on such grounds).

MEMBERSHIP of the group is BY APPROVAL OF MODERATOR. This is to prevent SPAM + ensuring that RIGHT PERSONS JOIN THE GROUP. In addition, NEW MEMBERS joining the group will be briefly introduced to all members of the group.
