Hello everyone! It's another beautiful sunny day here in Eugene. I just
heard about some free Microsoft software for computer science students
in high schools and universities. You may think that the words "free"and
"Microsoft" don't go together, but this seems like one of those exceptions.
The purpose of the program is to give students tools to learn with - and
presumably, that they will continue to work with once they graduate and
become professionals. The students need to be at accredited high schools
and universities anywhere in the world. There is a form on the site that
they will need to fill out to have access to the free tools. Schools can
also become partners and have access to the software for their students.
That said, it's an impressive collection of things for free at Microsoft

I'd encourage those of you who are working with computer science
students to have them take a look at the site.
Keep well!
Yours,
Deborah
