The Society was formed in October 2005 to cater for the needs of both home gardeners and allotmenteers in the Paignton area of Devon and is affiliated to the Allotments Gardens Council (UK)

We are an outgoing society with a range of social activities. Members also benefit from discounts on a range of seeds and other horticultural products.

We are also a campaigning society, representing the rights of the plot holder and dedicated to preserving Paignton's precious allotment sites and green spaces. In August 2007 the Society achieved one of its main aims by reviving Paignton's historical horticultural show.

This forum will allow you to discuss gardening and allotment issues and give and share advice. You can post photos and details of your local show, for sales, wants or just tell people about your gardening experiences or a show or garden you have visited. In fact anything gardening and allotment related. Allotmenteers have a sense of humour as well, so if you are going to post jokes, please refrain from bad language and anything that may cause offence.

The forum is for members of the society, plus home gardeners and allotmenteers throughout the South Devon area who share an interest.
