Merry Meet Welcome to Pagan Pride Queensland. This group is designed to create contact between Pagans of various Paths despite our differences to come together with our strengths show support and interest in promoting Pagan pride and public awareness and by supporting such events as International Pagan Pride Day which is held each September in most countries created by the Pagan Pride Project in the USA.

Brisbane seen it's first and very succesful Pagan Pride Day on Sept. 22nd 2002 which had an attendance of approx. 4000 people. Pagan Pride Day 2003 was held in King George Square, Brisbane on Saturday September 27th. also a benifit night was held in the Valley and will be a regular event for fundraising for PPD, both years were a great success. 2004's PPD was Sat.Sept 18th at Historical Boggo Road Gaol, Dutton Park, which included the "all ages after Party". This too was a great success. We will be having a break this year 2005 in Brisbane to rest up after a hectic 3 years and fundraise for 2006 Pagan Pride Day. Pagan Pride Org is always in need of more PPD local event coordinators. PPDQLD also need the support and financial donations from Pagan Business and/or the Community to make PPD a yearly event.

As for this forum, yes we are all different and therefore may discuss and disagree on some subjects. Although the group is designed for networking and ideas toward making Pagan Pride successful in Australia, OPEN discussion is totally acceptable BUT there is to be no flaming on this list, it is designed to create "solidarity"..so discussion is welcome but all must adhere to respecting others beliefs and thoughts.
