Pagan Clergy is designed as a forum to exchange ideas, information and concerns with others currently working as Leaders and/or Clergy in their communities, or who may have stepped down or taken time away from this work but still wish interaction. We are a diverse group, representing many different paths and views: Topics including but not limited to apologetics, polytheology, pastoral care and counseling, ritual concerns, training, legalities and leadership issues are discussed respectfully. Political issues including Pagan Unity are discussed ONLY as is relevant to leadership or clergy support.

Pagan Clergy is not a teaching list for aspiring clergy. Please contact someone in your local community for this support. Persons feeling that the isolation of their circumstances should exempt them from this requirement are asked to contact the list owner for membership consideration.

This list is not intended to serve as an advertising service for persons who perform handfastings and other rites of passage. If the entire focus of your ministry is the performance of such rites, either as a commercial or a community service, we will not subscribe you.

A brief biography will be requested and included information may be made available to the list archives and list members. Please be advised that the brief comment permitted by Yahoo to be included in your subscription request is NOT a biography under the terms of this list. We are requesting substantial information concerning your training, chosen areas of ministry, level of experience and qualifications to be considered clergy by your peers. If a biography is not received within three days of your subscription request, the latter will be automatically denied. List privacy is upheld at all times.
