All triad members are welcome, and we have birthmothers, birthfathers, adoptees, and adoptive parents with us, as well as siblings searching for siblings lost in PA adoption.

Because of problems between AOL/Compuserve and YahooGroups, if you are an AOL.com or CS.com user it is strongly recommended that you use a non-AOL/CS mailbox for the list so you get all mail and retain your ability to send as well. Please get yourself a free Yahoo or Hotmail mailbox to use for listmail.

Once you are on the list, you can ask your question and state your feelings to others who really get it. Offer ideas or legwork, or lend support to others. Posts run 5-25 daily, so if mailbox space is a consideration, select "digest" option when subscribing.

PAFind is peer to peer. To allow a safe place to talk and share feelings and ideas without fear of unwanted mail, those wanting to use the list chiefly as an audience for promotion of a site, cause or service as well as paid searchers are not welcome. No sales, no adoption professionals, please (paid searchers, social workers or court employees). Spam, promotion, solicitation, flaming, inspirational poetry/messages, virus warnings or non-adoption related topics are not acceptable.

Listowner privately databases your search info so you'll get a questionaire after signing up. Your subscription begins when you complete and return it and it's databased by the owner. Our shared knowledge and cooperation have made reunion (over 700 in 7 years) easier for many of us, and many reunited people have stayed to help new folks.
