This group is for anyone interested in the projects under development by the Padma Karpo Translation Committee.
The Padma Karpo Translation Committee, under the direction of Lama Tony Duff and located in Kathmandu, Nepal, works to provide accurate translations of texts of the Indian and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. Additionally, the Committee works to provide support materials such as dictionaries and reference works for the use of translators and students of Tibetan Buddhism. The committee oversaw the largest Tibetan text preservation project in Asia in recent years, called the Drukpa Kagyu Heritage Project. The Committee also is the home of the Tibetan Computer Company which provides computer software for the Tibetan language.
The picture is of Tony (centre) and fellow practitioners in retreat at one of the major Nyingma monasteries in Tibet.
