This group is for Amateur Radio operators, with a valid Radio Amateur Callsign, who are interested in Amtor, Pactor, Packet or associated modes and are QRV at least in one of these modes. Antennas, hardware, software operating topics are encouraged. You can post SKED times for QSOS using CENTER FREQUENCY NOTATION. Messages are to be kept to topic and in the spirit of Amateur Radio.

NO discussions that incite personal attacks on other group members will be tolerated. This includes political/religious discussions. Offenders will be banned from the group.

To avoid spam, when you first join us, you'll be in moderated mode. So you are invited to send an introductory message with a few words about yourself, name, callsign, modem you have, etc. This will allow us to change your status from moderated to unmoderated.

Use Hamspots by VK3AMA to post your PACTOR, AMTOR or PACKET SKEDS/CQ CALLS using your Center Frequency (the one between MARK and SPACE), and/or post a message to the group.

PLEASE read "DIAL FREQUENCY CALCULATIONS (CENTER NOTATION).txt" and "Setting your Radio to Display CENTER FREQUENCY.txt,"in the "Files" Section, directory "FREQUENCY-display". This way you can find out how to setup your DIAL to the correct PACTOR/PACKET frequency when arranging SKEDS. Also read the files in PACTOR-MBO-RMS-LISTS directory that contain useful PACTOR QRGs.
