This Group's Main Purpose is to discuss both changes involving the Amtrak Coast Starlight and the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner services. Discussions of various rail projects within the coverage area, from San Diego to Vancouver BC are allowed.

This picture, showcasing Seattle's Historic King Street train station depicts an inbound Cascades Talgo train (left) and a Sounder Special Events (Cougar Grid Iron Classic) train on the right. The Commuter platform (center) is filled with eager football fans as this is the first game of the college football season and a big day for Qwest Field, home of the Saa Hawks.
