As the summer comes to a close, many of the projects being worked on over the summer are now ready to be shared with the world.
These many additions include:
1) New obituary submission form - now it's even easier than ever to share an obituary with the world.
2) New headstone submission form - similar to the obituary form, this form is very easy to use and will allow me to add additions and corrections to the older cemetery lists done in the 1970s.
3) Added news schools to schools list and photos for several
Powers Public/High School - history added
5) Correction to Upper Fishtrap cemetery
Burials for Frank and Elizabeth (Gabeler) Fish which have been reported to be in this cemetery have been located in the Coquille Masonic Cemetery instead.

Interested in Oregon History? Check out my webpages at coquillevalley.org or genealogytrails.com (Coos & Curry Counties)
We are now currently reformatting Alameda and Alpine counties. Do you have any data for these counties? We would love to add it. We are in need of bios, obits, census, voter lists, and etc. Don't want to transcribe it? That's ok. We can help! Submit all data to californiatrails@....
~We are in need of county hosts. Many CA counties are without one. Join our group of volunteers today! Not sure? Only want to transcribe? That's ok! Kids back in school and not sure what to do with your spare time? Helping free genealogy grow is a great way!
Hello everyone! Still plugging along trying to empty out my Oregon folder so if
you sent something in keep looking for the updates for it to go up! Thank you to
all the contributors, we couldn't have a website without all the wonderful data
you send in. Please send in anything that you think may help others in their
search. Also we always need hosts so please check out the main Genealogy Trails
page for more information on volunteering if that is something that interests
you!
Take Care all and enjoy your week.

Hi,
This is my first time to post, so I'm not sure if it's kosher to ask for an
obituary lookup. If there is someone doing that, I would really appreciate on
obituary for Roy Alonzo Teshera. He was born October 16, 1884 in Tillamook,
Oregon and died July 13, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA. I know that he is buried in
the Los Angeles National Cemetery. Thank you so much for looking for this.
Annie Teshera Glass
