Welcome to the PABrewer List, a club listserver for the South Central PA Homebrewer's Association. Located in York PA, a group of beer and winemaking enthusiasts. SCPHA was formed around 1992. We meet on the last Wednesday of each month at 7pm at Mr. Steve's store www.mrsteves.com ,except Nov/Dec. We hope you can join our group in the spirit of sharing of our common passion for craft brewed beer and wines. Most members bring a handful of samples which are shared amongst members. Its not uncommon to try 10-20 styles of ales and lagers in one night - in very small quantities of course. If not brewing yet, bring some microbrew. Other activities besides the monthly meetings include the summer picnic, Farmer Jon's Oktoberfest hayride, the annual holiday beer exchange (as in cookie swap_, holiday dinner, and occasional trips like the Baltimore pub crawl. The club is recently assisting the York County Heritage Trust in holding brewing class at its museum. There is no cost for this web list, but the annual dues to be included in meetings and events are $40 per year.
