Welcome! This group is for members and would-be members of Congregation Ohab Zedek, an Orthodox Jewish Synagogue in New York, NY.
The purpose of this group is to foster a sense of community among OZ members. Please feel free to post if you have items to donate (baby clothing or equipment, furniture etc.), or if you have a need for such items. Other potential postings could involve mourners gathering a Shiva minyan, new parents who need help with meals or babysitting, or members of the community who are in the hospital and would welcome visitors. We also welcome posts of general community interest including: a. social service events on the West Side such as blood drives or clothing drives; b. information about sports leagues and/or other appropriate social events. Please do not post any commercial or political messages.
