This is a friendly group where people across Oxfordshire, UK can share information, discuss freecycling! Just like a cafe - except without the food and drink ;) All we ask is that you keep it polite and free of politics, religion, and "adult" topics. We also do not allow private or corporate sales or offers, ads and requests for animals, pets or other livestock.

Share community information. Events (free or charged for), organisations looking for volunteers or members, other community news - all welcome!

Ask for help. If you've got a "How do I?" or a "Where can I find?" sort of question, on pretty much any topic, this is the place to seek answers from your helpful and knowledgeable fellow members!

We welcome all comments, both positive and (constructively!) negative, about the Oxfordshire groups or the concept in general. Feel free to ask questions about how to best use Freecycle. Publicity ideas and offers of help are always very welcome too!

So, why not step in and introduce yourself?

As this group is fairly new, other guidelines may emerge as its use grows. This will be done in consultation with members as much as possible, with the aim of keeping the group friendly and useful! Membership is not moderated, but members' posts are subject to initial approval in order to keep out spammers etc.
