Over the River is mainly a social, non-matchmaking, cultural group that caters to the needs and interests of gay, lesbian, transgender and straight supportive people who live in Seminole and Volusia counties (in Central Florida). The group is open to all adults regardless of: gender, race, disability, marital status, socioeconomic class, religious beliefs, political positions and eating preferences.

Oh by the way, OTR is not...a men's group or a women's group, for singles or couples, rich or economically challenged, cat people or dog people, meat eaters or vegetarians...OTR is a group for everyone. There's "no dues, no board of directors, just dinner twice a month." Just come on out and have a good time!

A special note: to date, no restaurant has required a minimum dollar amount to enjoy the company of others. So, come on out and say hello.

OTR meets twice a month, once on the 2nd Thursday at 6:30pm and again on the 4th Sunday of every month at 5:00pm. Please join the group to find out where we'll be next or call 407-928-8376.

Yahoo group facilitators will give priority to postings based on:

1) Messages welcoming both men and women...
2) Information pertinent to OTR's focus area of SW Volusia and NW Seminole Counties...basically, a 20 mile radius of OTR's home base of Orange City, Florida.

This isn't to say that OTR won't post an occasional event outside the area or an occasional gender specific gathering. Editing of messages deemed discriminatory or polarizing will be at the discretion of the Yahoo group facilitators.

Excessive postings not fitting the above criteria will be considered SPAM and will be deleted!
