Overland Trails is devoted to discussions of the use of the long distance trails and their impact on the settling of the US American West. Although oriented primarily towards the Western USA in the last half of the 19th century, discussions of other trails (principally gold rush and emigrant) are also welcomed, as well as co-laterial discussions of related topics. Membership in the Oregon-California Trails Association is encouraged, but not required.
