Bob, Out South Hill State Forest way, Eleanor and I heard at least one Yellow-billed Cuckoo. But that was my first this season. Gerianne

missing cuckoos
I have only heard three cuckoos all spring; one in my yard only once, one on the big day count when I spent all day listening for birds, and one yesterday

Phoebes
I was wrong about the source of the noise when the phoebes and the barn swallows clash. It is definitely the phoebes' bills. A fight ensued about two feet
