The Yahoo group is geared towards supporting the classical approach in education, but all Orthodox homeschoolers are welcome to join and participate. In fact, the members of this group employ a wide variety of homeschool approaches and styles. *Please be aware that archived and currents posts often times include topics not necessarily strictly adhering to the topic of "curriculum".

This group is not formally associated with any particular jurisdiction. It was created in order to meet the unique needs of Orthodox homeschoolers through fellowship and support. Please be advised that it is assumed that we will each be coming from various traditions and jurisdictions, each having various and complicated reasons for being where we are. Discussion that would tend to divide us will be considered strictly off topic, and I will try my best to intercede should anything arise. We have serious work to do and should not allow ourselves to be distracted.

I sincerely pray that this group will serve to strengthen our faith, develop supportive and lasting friendships, and help us to improve the quality of education in our homes.
