Description
Have you created a model, but have neither the resources, time or skill to diagram it up? Can you reverse fold a model and then diagram it? If you fall into one of these categories, then perhaps you'd like to do an exchange of skills, ie. your skill as a diagrammer could be used to diagram up a model that somebody else has had the skill to create.
The procedure to make this happen would be:
1) Read the various files in the 'Files' section of this Group
2) Upload some photos of your model to the Photos section, showing it from various angles and preferably the keys steps to arrive at the finished article
3) Post a message to the Group stating model name, starting paper size, how many sheets required, what starting base was used (if any) and a link to the photo
4) Potential diagrammers would survey the photos and if interested in diagramming, would reply to the message poster. That said, as far as possible, conduct your messages through this group – the more publicly visible the activity, the more it will encourage others to contribute. Obviously, contact each other off list when you exchange private details.
5) The actual model would then be posted off to the diagrammer, reverse folded and then diagrammed up. The diagrams would then be returned in whatever format is agreed upon, ensuring that both diagrammer and model creator are credited. The end result should enter the public realm, be it this Group, webpage, book etc.
6) Post to the Group, announcing a successful exchange of skills has occurred and where the diagrams can be located.
7) The original photos should then be moved to the 'Diagrammed Models' photo album in the 'Photos' section of this Group
So, are you altruistic enough to want to help out? If you do, take a look at the models as posted by fellow members of this group and have a go at diagramming them up. You'll be contributing to the greater good of the origami community if you do - and that will benefit everybody!

Hello....I am very new
I wanted to introduce myself to the group. I recently started a book binding class and many of the people in the program do origami. It is fascinating to me.
