Main Street Drag, Friday, May 9. A select group of 100 Art Cars visit children in hospitals and schools. 20,000 Art Car activity books are distributed.

Art CARtailgater! Thousands watch the pre parade excitement on Allen Parkway just west of downtown Houston. The lineup begins at Taft St. and Extends past Shepherd 9 am - 1 pm

Houston Art Car Parade, Saturday, May 10. 1 - 3PM. Over 250 embellished, augmented vehicles dazzle 250,000 people lining Allen Parkway from Taft to Bagby and back again!
VIPit Party for 1,000 at Houston's historic Heritage Society features deluxe picnic lunch and seating. Tickets $125, where the elite view the street! 11 am - 3 pm

Party on the Green Art Car Awards Ceremony, immediately following the parade on May 10, at the new downtown park, Discovery Green. Cash prizes totaling $10,000 are awarded in a dozen categories at a major celebration of Art Cars and their amazing creators. 3:30 am – 6:30 pm
