Webpublishing in Open Participatory Environments (advanced)
Blogs, podcasts and social networking tools are a convenient and highly accessible medium for multimedia webpublishing and networking. They allow learners to create their own content and build their identity online through interactive spaces through which they can engage in reflection, open and participatory multi-mode self-expression with peers and experts beyond classroom walls.
This advancedTesol Electronic Village Online (EVO) session will run from January 15th to February 25th 2007 and it is aimed at teachers who have already experimented with blogs and podcasts either for their own use or with classes and who would like to extend their technical and pedagogical knowledge of these social tools, RSS and tagging to help learners interact with the web at large and create networks according to their own interests.
Before enrolling, please take this survey and we will send you an invitation to join the group or re-direct you to the other blogging session.
