Description

This yahoo group is "owned and operated by" MISSOURIANS FOR HONEST ELECTIONS (MoHE). We are a nonpartisan group of Missouri citizens working to reform election practices to protect every citizen's right to vote. Our expanded mission is to serve as a state-wide alliance of groups. Our work is raising public awareness about voting equipment and election practices, documenting voting irregulariities when we find them, lobbying for better systems and equipment, and ultimately proposing alternatives. Proprietary (secret) software used in the computerized voting machines in use since 2002 are a violation of our constitutional right to open voting. We believe hand-counted paper ballots are the most secure. And a paper ballot MUST be required for every vote. NO MORE DRE's!
