Though the website started as a home for Lord of the Rings fan fiction, it has now expanded to other fandoms. Please, come and visit us!

Members are invited to discuss stories, pose queries and generally confer about anything related to their fandom of choice, as well as to the works of JRR Tolkien. Lord of the Rings understandably holds a dear place in our hearts at Open Scrolls. Do not be afraid to bring up other subjects, even if they are from books, television series or movies not currently listed on the archive.

There will be no posting of stories on this list. Stories should be uploaded directly to the Open Scrolls Archive.

This is also a non-slash site in deference to the sensibilities of some of our members and the core aim of the archive.
