Description

The fanfiction ontology project is attempting to create an ontology to describe fanfiction.

This ontology is intended to be generic and not geared to any one fandom or genre. Members are welcome from all walks of fanfiction with personal experience of any particular area being respected but all personal preferences being left at the door. The ontology is intended to describe what exists not make a value judgement.

We have two eventual aims - firstly that the ontology created is deemed acceptable by our peers and secondly that it can be used to form the basis of fanfiction related semantic web applications.
