The Oneidabirds listserv has the following goals:
* To help Central New York birders exchange their
bird sightings quickly
* To encourage discussion on bird related topics
* To inform birders of upcoming events
* Posters should use a signature block containing their name & location


Topics that should not be discussed on Oneidabirds include:
* Virus Alerts
* Chain Letters
* Pet Birds
* Ethics of hunting and/or falconry
* Politics and arguments (but news is welcomed)
* Cats
