FYI: This is a neighborly online message board that exists to strengthen our community and improve relationships through better communications within the Oakcliff Estates neighborhood and the City of Doraville. PLEASE NOTE: This is a private online group and the messages do not necessarily reflect the views of any neighborhood organization. This online group is for friendly, neighborly communication of interest to the entire community. It is not intended for commercial advertising, political rants, personal disagreements or more than four comments in a day by the same person. I try not to censor a neighbor’s expression of opinion, but as moderator, I will moderate postings that I think do not fit this description.

I encourage members of this group as well as our real life neighbors, city employees and elected officials to be civil and respectful of each other rather than divisive and offensive. We can “agree to disagree without being disagreeable”. Participants should avoid racism, sexism, homophobia, slander, name calling, rudeness, undocumented allegations and other forms of divisive, hurtful gossip or speculation as well as personal and politically partisan attacks. If you must get personal, please take it “off line”. If we respect ourselves and each other enough to be thoughtful and considerate in our communications, we show that we actually do welcome diversity in Doraville and that in Oakcliff Estates, we are serious about improving our quality of life by creating a more positive, friendly and attractive community of good neighbors.
