This is a local group for mothers in Coeur d'Alene and the surrounding area in North Idaho. It's a group for moms with children of all ages, from little ones to teenagers.

We have women's gatherings every other month that range from potlucks to book discussions, dinner out, a meetup at a juice bar, etc. These gatherings are the main thread that knits our group together. We share friendship, information, inspiration and support, at our gatherings and online.

During the summer months we have weekly alternating park days, beach days, and nature walks for moms and kids of all ages.

Some of our past activities and outings that reflect our green interests and values are: our annual healthy cookie exchange (every December); organic farm visits; beach clean-ups; seed exchanges; clothing swaps; toy exchanges; recycled arts for kids of all ages.

Our natural family interests include: whole foods for the whole family, sustainable living, reduced consumption, organic foods, gardening, composting, recycling, upcycling, DIY, Attachment Parenting, gentle discipline, holistic medicine, vegan diet, vegetarian diet, raw foods diet, family fitness & exercising, yoga, homebirth, natural birth, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, La Leche League, baby-wearing, preschool co-ops, homeschooling, unschooling, upschooling, Waldorf, etc. **None of us does or has done all of these things!** This is just to give you an idea of the "birds of a feather" you'll find here.

TO JOIN: We are a word-of-mouth, friend-to-friend mothering group, rather than an open online membership group. We grow our group thoughtfully and intentionally through member referrals.
