Olean area hiking group welcomes those interested in exploring WNY's and PA's beautiful hills and waterways.

Activities enjoyed include, but are not limited to: hiking, cross-country skiing, canoeing, kayaking, camping, biking, snowshoeing, and birding.

Mission: To join others who have a love & respect for nature and share our favorite outdoor locations. We strive to leave places in the condition that we find them - or better.

Members who join this yahoo group will have access to posts from other members and may choose to join in or post activities.

Regarding safety: THIS IS AN INFORMATION SHARING GROUP ONLY. MEMBERS CHOOSE WHETHER TO PARTICIPATE OR NOT. THE SAFETY OF EACH MEMBER IS HIS/HER OWN RESPONSIBILITY - THIS CANNOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH. Members are encouraged to use common sense & good judgment during activities. As a precaution, we encourage members to go in groups of three, or to become acquainted with one another before going on an activity.
