The Old Teahouse was created by a few dedicated members of the "Shiki Temp List" when it could no longer be supported by the sponsors in Japan. It was initially a place for frivolous New Years Eve Haiku Hooligan posts among stranded Shiki list members and good friends. We have evolved into a slow paced, non ego fed, haiku /senryu /tanka /cinqain or any poetry we choose to post, list for good friends to share. Comments and Criticism are welcome but not expected.
