OLDLAWS is a forum started in 1999, primarily for alumni of The Lawrence School, Lovedale, Nilgiris, Tamilnadu, INDIA. Lawrence-Lovedale is a premier Boarding school founded in 1858 by the British in memory of Major General Sir Henry Lawrence. Forum membership may also - upon discretion - be extended to current students, current/former staff, and current/former parents of students.

This is primarily a discussion forum and the freedom of expression is respected here. BUT ...

1. No SPAM or solicitation emails whatsoever.

2. Only plain-text emails allowed. No attachments.

3. And as far as unoriginal content (forwarded material) is concerned, please forward emails from other sources ONLY if it directly pertains to the Lawrence, Lovedale community or if it directly pertains to a specific ongoing discussion on the forum. This would mean that humor postings or chain letters or virus warnings (most of which are hoaxes) or random pleas for help from the rest of humanity etc. are NOT to be forwarded to this forum.
