I think a regional meeting of the northeastern members would be a
wonderful idea, but again, the question would come down to where to
hold it. And with the prices of air fare skyrocketing as much as they
have, I'm not sure I'll even be able to do a Las Vegas round trip come
next March. Not unless I get some extremely good traffic in terms of
sales on any of my titles.

With a regional meeting, at least I could drive. Gas will still be
outrageous, but at least I'll have the comfort of knowing I'm not too
far out of my own element.

As for being busy writing, it's been a hell of a year and a half for
me thus far. Four books out across the web in the last eighteen
months, one exclusively on lulu for now. Can't afford a decent
distribution package as yet on it. But most of my time right now in
terms of writing work is being absorbed in editing and re-writing
instead of working on original material, which feels a bit laborious
and tedious, especially considering the current heat.
