This group is a spinoff of the Offbeat Modest Dress blog at wordpress and a sister discussion group for the Headcovering Eastern Orthodox Women/coveredorthodox Yahoo discussion group.

We're mostly Eastern Orthodox Christians who are trying to forge a modest way of dressing that isn't necessarily exclusively 'plain' or 'prairie,' but may draw from those styles, as well as Orthodox Jewish/frum styles and the modest dress of some Hindu and Muslim women. We share tips and resources on modest clothing and headcoverings and may occasionally veer off into other subjects of interest to the group.
