There are many kinds of solipsist and solipsist-kin.
There are fundamentalists like D.E. Harding
(_On Having No Head_) and Art Kleps (_Millbrook_ and
_The Boo-Hoo Bible_). There are quantum many-worlders
and people who subscribe to the Principle of Plenitude
("everything imaginable exists") like Hans Moravec and
Greg Egan. There are quantum Copenhageners, and sometimes
they overlap with the former. There are reality-tunnellers
like Robert Anton Wilson, and madmen like Philip K. Dick.
There are Madhyamika and Yogacara and Zen Buddhists, and
Advaita Vedantists. There are "ludists" who think the whole
Universe is one great Game. And there are people like the
list admin who think the truth is probably a superposition
of all of these things, just as you can at the same time
be strolling through a sunny field, be a brain in a vat,
and be lying in a dark room with your eyes closed.

* "classical" solipsism (Buddhism, Vedanta, etc.)
