This is for Odinists (Asatruar, Norse Pagans, Heathens) who want to return to the moral roots of our faith and take the prolife view on euthanasia under whatever name it appears: "assisted suicide, right to die, death with dignity, and helping people with their end-of-life issues" Other Pagan paths also are welcome.

Odinism has historically valued the life even of those lives that are imperfect: the elderly, the sick, the weak, and the disabled. After all, Odin himself chose to become slightly disabled when He sacrificed His eye to obtain wisdom. And Tyr is one-handed.

This group is also opposed to eugenics, including abortion or infanticide of 'defective' babies. While some believe our ancestors killed weak or deformed babies, Tacitus in his Germania indicates that the killing of infants (and perhaps abortion) were not to be found among the Germanic tribes. Other pro-life topics (stem cells, death penalty, abortion) are not out of bounds but do remember than not all who are pro-life on euthanasia want to ban all abortions, or agree on the death penalty.
