OASFiS consists of science fiction fans from all over the central Florida area and beyond. We have had members in Orlando, Daytona, Titusville, Connecticut, Washington, and even on the road with the circus! Formed in the 1980’s and incorporated in the State of Florida as a not-for-profit organization in 1987, many of the founding members were
involved with MagiCon, the 1992 WorldCon, held in Orlando.
The main goal of OASFiS is the promotion and enjoyment of science fiction in all its forms.
