This email group is for residents and people interested in the Oak Parke community in Southwest Austin Texas. This is a place where we can discuss issues pertinent to our Oak Parke Community. Feel free to share and discuss events, neighborhood security, block party's, parking, water/energy efficiency, and anything else you feel might be of interest to your fellow neighbor and is a part of Oak Parke life. PLEASE NOTE: Do not ask questions directly to the Oak Parke HOA Board of Directors (BOD) using this Yahoo Group as this is not the forum for that (you will not be answered). The official forum for asking questions of the BOD are the regular meetings which are open to the public and are posted on the Oak Parke website (ophoa.org).

Please keep your posts friendly, helpful, and constructive. Post must be on topic and relate to Oak Parke. Posts that include politics, race, and/or religion are off topic and not acceptable. Do not let the debate degrade into name calling or profanity. State the facts and stay on topic! Flaming and derogatory posts will not be tolerated, and any members abusing this policy will be warned, moderated, or banned depending on the severity of the post. Posts that directly advertise a business and are unsolicited, are considered SPAM and are not acceptable.

Please note that this Yahoo group in not sanctioned by the Oak Parke HOA which means the topics posted here do not necessarily reflect the views of the Oak Parke HOA Board. This Yahoo group is a means of community communications between Oak Parke residents. However, there is no way for the moderator to determine if a member is actually a resident of the community or not, so please understand that comments you post may be read by people outside of Oak Parke. New members may be moderated for their first few posts which means it may take several hours for new member's posts to show up.
