> Mike, Try the Oswego Historical Society at the Richardson-Bates
House. They should have that info for you. Only 3 roads went
to Oswego. The O&W , The Rome Watertown & Ogdensburg ( later
NYC) and The DL&W (later EL). DL&W went on the West side of
the city , The O&W from Bridge St. East and the RW&O (NYC)
went through Oswego via the O&W on the East side to the West
side yard and onward to Rochester. The RW&O is the road that
went through the tunnel under the court house NOT the O&W,
even though they call it the O&W tunnel to this day.
