We are a secular homeschool group for those in Northwest Louisiana. While many homeschools are based on religious reasons, there are many who are not. At this time, there are no groups available for those parents who are homeschooling their children for other reasons, or who may be homeschooling for religious reasons but the available groups in the Shreveport/Bossier City area do not address that concern or attempt to sway you towards their religious beliefs or practices.. This group is intended to bridge that gap...that lack, if you will, for the area. So, welcome aboard and feel free to discuss anything homeschool related.
There will be NO FLAMING and no discrimination based on race or religion. We are here for the children, please remember that.
