If nothing else, the Palatine library has a "Book Donate" program. They sell them and use the sale proceeds for library programs.

if i remember correctly it was about one shelf ~4ft wide.  Currently they are in boxes(2). most are older.  So, what do we do w/ these. thanks mikie ...
