NVC Parenting is a forum for parents who want to live the principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) with their families. Through offering empathy and sharing experiences, this group seeks to support parents to raise children with the values and tools of NVC. The group also aims to assist all members to meet our needs for community, growth, and living and parenting in line with our values. It will also provide a forum for documenting the ways NVC is being used by parents and children with the goal of broadening the practice of nonviolent parenting in our society. NVC trainers who work specifically with parents are invited to participate even if they are not parents.
