thanks gang, for all the kind words. what a fine group of cachers we
have here in northern california. it makes it easy and fun for me to
put out hides that people can enjoy. finding is fun, hiding is fun,
but the best part is meeting all the fun loving people involved in our
game.

I would like to Congratulate and thank the Prof for all his hides. I just did about 31 caches in the Colusa area and almost all were placed by him.

Just kidding… actually they offered
such a reasonable charge for postage last year that a group buy didn’t
really save much and was a bit of logistical work.

Hey there Raymond and clan, just catching up a congrats or two... congratulations on the 1K... your NUTS in the mail... (oh that's right we don't mail them!!) ...Coming soon to an event near you! (that's it!). :o) Rock&Crystal
They allow you to park legally, have muggles stare when you do the geocaching dance, perfect strangers walk up and ask what you lost and if they can help find it, talk on your gps to not attract attention and identify you as a cacher to other cachers.

Double bed and private bath. Non smoking and no
pets. Price is right – free – including breakfast.
Our plans for that day include snowshoeing at Donner Pass
out to Azalea and FloraLakes we won’t be getting
back until mid to late afternoon so don’t plan on arriving early.
That's a very kind offer. We actually reserved a room
at the event location so we're covered but really
appreciate the offer. Thanks, Blucruz

The thing to remember with retiredprof is that, not only does he have a
zillion cache hides, not only does he maintain them all (/boggle), but,
in addition to all of that, he's one of the nicest guys you would ever
want to meet. Now THAT'S what really makes him one of the great
N.U.T.S. It's a pleasure to know him.
Thanks, retiredprof for being part of our caching experience. It may
sound dorky but we are all better off for knowing you.

Many of us met Karen McIntyre at the NUTS dinner at Li's Chinese last November. She was doing research on geocaching and getting some first hand caching experience from a few folks.
Her article is in the CSUC Student Handbook which was included inside today's edition (1/19/07) of the Chico Enterprise Record. The article is on pages 6 & 7 of the handbook.
I'm going to do a geocaching presentation at the Willows Rotary Club next Thursday, Jan. 25 and was looking for some company. I plan to go do the Blue Gum Road series. Anyone want to join me?
I live in Willows and used to belong to Rotary, also OakStreetSeekers are Willows folks, I have done the Blue Gum series, fun.
