Description

The Nueces County, Texas, Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES), provides mentoring, and fellowship for all FCC licensed hams in the south Texas coastal bend area. This Yahoo group is the primary watering hole for the exchange of information concerning all facets of ham radio including preparing for emergencies, public service, increasing operating skills and technical knowledge. Training will be low key and fun. Our general website is at:
