Welcome to Nathan & Rebecca's Yahoo!Group. This group is dedicated to keeping supporters and prayer warriors updated on Nathan, Rebecca and Aiden Lloyd-Jones. Newsletters, prayer requests & other communication will be posted to this group as made available by this awesome missionary family.
Nathan and Rebecca arrived in Honduras February 2007. Their firstborn son, Aiden Israel, was born June of 2007 in Honduras. During the first year, the couple primarily taught in the primary school on site. They have had a full-time teacher join with them allowing them to better serve the educational needs of the children and improve relations with the children. Nathan often says that the best part of running the school is that he gets to disciple the children 8 hours a day 5 days a week, giving them a glimpse of God's plan for their lives. Nathan has recently started taking students with him on trips to surrounding towns and cities to allow them to practice sharing their faith. Nathan and Rebecca are very excited about the growth they are witnessing in the children.
On the mission site, there is a building set up for youth ministry. Nathan and Rebecca are praying for additional missionaries to join them in the mission at Palacios to open the youth center for regular youth services.
The current prayer request list:
~Finalizing residency papers for Rebecca (Nathan's have been finalized!)
~Youth Center open, staffed and financially supported
~Improvement in Nathan's Spanish
~Release from the Religious Spirit of the area
~Healing & Strengthening of Rebecca's body for future pregnancies/natural birth
~Boldness, Direction, Vision
~Financial support and Partners in the mission!
Thank you for your continued prayer support and financial backing of this ministry!
