Well I didn't hit the great big 50k mark though I did get 40,496 words
done. I had to give myself a pep talk because I was disappointed but I
have several reasons to be proud.

1) I'm a single parent of two
2) I fought off illness to write
3) I occasionally had my sanity and my writing time tested as I babysat
my nephews
4) I was handwriting my novel. That's right only Chapters 8, 9 and the
first four pages of 10 were typed entirely on the computer. the
Prologue and Chapters 1-7 were done by pen (I literally used up 5 of
them!) and put in a 5-subject notebook.

So heck yeah! I'm feeling accomplished. And as the Colonel said in the
Iron Man movie, "Next time baby!"
