A listserve of activists from various antiwar groups in the greater Houston, TX. area who oppose the US military response to the terror attacks of 11 September, and are struggling to end it. At present, the following groups are identified:

Houston Coalition for Justice, Not War (HCJNW)

Houston Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER)

Progressive Workers' Organizing Committee (PWOC College of the Mainland)

We hope there will be many more!


Posting is open to sharing valuable information about the war, its causes and developments, strategy and tactics for the peace movement, and of course, announcements of antiwar events and meetings of your group, which may be posted on the group calendar of this list (Click on calendar on the lefthand sidebar to access). If you run into especially well-written antiwar essays and reports that might be useful to the cause, you can upload them to the group files, so other activists can access them.
